Pottery Barn Deal

I had a $20 off coupon for pottery barn that I thought expired today.  I went in and got a great deal on a lampshade.  It was originally $68 but I got in on sale for $22.  With my coupon, I paid $4!  We put it in our living room and it looks really good!  Also, all of their Christmas stuff was on sale 50% off!

Christmas success!

This year we decided to pick names for Christmas presents.  We used elfster.com to pick the names for our secret santa.  It worked out great! (We will forget that my sister did not understand the rules of secret santa)

My dad won the prize for best present.  He was given Matt's name.  He bought Matt a signed Lou Holtz autographed picture.  Needless to say, Matt was so happy!  If only he was that excited over the pajamas I got him.... haha.

Big New Year's Plans

After careful debate, Matt and I decided to have a calm NYE.

We will be heading to Blue Bird in Bucktown because it is walking distance to our house!  Last year we could not find a cab and we walked forever in the snow and there was a lot of complaining (mostly by me)!

Can't wait for 2011!

First Blog Ever!

This will be my first blog ever!  I just thought what better way to prepare for 2011 then to start a blog!
